2010 Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 by SR Hamann Renaissance

Defacing a perfectly beautiful supercar is a crime, even if the vandalism falls under what’s being called ‘artwork’ these days.

This Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 was given a full tuning program by Canadian-based tuning firm, SR Auto Group, with the use of Hamann aerodynamic parts, including side skirts and front lip, 20-inch Pur One Monoblock wheels, and a state-of-the-art sound system. Sounds awesome, right?

Well, it would’ve been if they didn’t deface the beautiful Lamborghini with some ill-conceived artwork. We’re all proponents of freedom of expression around here, but let’s face it, there’s noting inherently appealing about doodling and drawing what-have-you’s on a Murcielago LP640.

Some people might view this as an artistic interpretation of creativity. Unfortunately, we’re not one of those people. As far as we’re concerned, this type of artwork should be best reserved on the back pages of a college notebook, not on a six-digit supercar like the Murcielago.

2009 Lamborghini SUV Preview

There are two things that made everyone know we are watching the Lambo SUV under the skin of that false Cayenne: one - the prototype tested was huge compared to the next generation Cayenne that will be smaller and sportier than the current generation. And second, the widened fenders and lowered front-end are not from a regular SUV. Conclusion: we are watching something big! Future Lamborghini SUV that will be unveiled sometime in 2009.

The 2009 Lamborghini SUV will also get the 4.5 liter V8 engine used in the Cayenne. Also the European market will get the 5.9 litre V12 diesel engine used in the Audi Q7.

The SUV will be based on a modified Cayenne platform. The company wants to keep the producing cost as low as possible, so they ca obtain good money from it. The V10 engine and a Lamborghini style design will make this thing easier to achieve.

2009 Lamborghini Murcielago Premier 4509 by Veilside

The Japanese tuning house Veilside can be personally held responsible for some of the most unique tuner car creations on the face of the planet, and their new Premier 4509 line of appearance packages promise to do the same thing for a few more high profile vehicles. The Premier 4509 line from Veilside features body kits for the 200 MPH Bentley Continental GT as well as for both the Lamborghini Murcielago and Gallardo super cars.

This particular modified Murcielago sports some new skin that appears to have been inspired by the Reventon. The kit consists of a new front bumper with larger intakes and more angular lines. The 4509 Lambo also gets a pair of redesigned side skirts complete with oversized intakes in front of the rear wheels and a new rear bumper complete with a set of equally impressive vents and a functional diffuser. This particular example also wears the Premier 4509 wing on top of the rear deck lid to ensure that the raging bull is stable when flying at 205 MPH and looks just as good as it rolls by at 5 MPH. Veilside is also offering an oversized twin exhaust tip that fills in the negative space in the middle of the rear bumper quite nicely.

Aside from the limited edition carbon fiber Premier 4509 Lamborghini Murcielago body kit, of which only 300 will be sold, Veilside has also come out with a set of matching shoes to go along with your super car’s new suit. The Premier 4509 PL-V Limited Model rims offer a sleek triple split five spoke design, complete with staggered fitment and one heck of a lip in the back that is available in sizes rangin from 19 to 22 inches in diameter.
